Its location was indeed great and unbeatable and only 5 minutes walk from Liberty Bell. Baggage storage, big windows and a writing table in our a double room were useful during stay.

The hotel staff was fabulous and outstanding from check-in to check-out. The location is marvelous and unbeatable, just 1 mile from an affiliated museum. It is found in a great area close enough to Independence Hall and Independence Mall.

The location of this hotel is amazing, right in the middle of the historic part of Philadelphia so we could walk anywhere. The rooms are big enough for a family of 4 and had appealing decor and were clean and pleasant. The staff at this hotel was great, with big smiles to greet us in the morning at breakfast.

This venue provides clean, stylish rooms with cozy beds and fridge; the breakfast options include pastries, tea, eggs, bacon, and toast.

Too much money for such a small room. Thin walls and definitely won't be staying again when thee are sooooo many better values.

the day time staff, very bad and aggressive

The hotel is a go-to spot in Philadelphia. The staff is fantastic from check-in to check-out. The rooms are exceptional and delightful, and they come with twin beds and cookies every afternoon. The location is brilliant, with a subway station within walking distance. It's a short distance to Carpenter's Historic Hall.

Great location, lovely old hotel design (not cookie-cutter, like most hotels), lots of nice touches (tea, beautiful furniture).

Would be lovely to have a good map of the area given at the desk (not just of the historic sites, but good for walking around anywhere in the area). Also, provide info on how to get to hotel via train and subway from airport; it's easy, fast, and inexpensive.

The location was superb, as it was within walking distance to all the main historical sites we wanted to see. Additionally, the hotel provided free parking, which was very convenient. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the included breakfast in a nice room was a great way to start the day.
